Security officer defrauds prospective nursing training students

Ho, April 12, GNA – The Ho Nurses Training College Board is investigating one of the College’s security officers for allegedly defrauding two prospective students of GHc4, 100 promising to get them admitted into the College.

Mr Vincent Hlor allegedly took the money in instalments to prepare fresh result slips, influence the Principal of the College and as 93ways and means.”

Mr James Agboada, Principal of the College who briefed the media, denied receiving 1,300 Ghana cedis from Mr Hlor as alleged. He said the matter came to his notice when some employees were discussing the issue and the verbal assault on Mr Hlor by victims one afternoon.

Mr Agboada said when he questioned Mr Hlor he refused to speak but later offered to refund the amount to the victims. Mama Attratoh II, Queen of Ho-Dome, Board Chairperson of the College, confirmed the allegation and told the GNA that the Police would take over the case after the Board had established the facts.
