SDA Pastor urges peace

Akwatia, Sept. 13, GNA – Pastor S. Osei-Bonsu, of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) College of Education at Asokore in the Eastern Region, has called on Ghanaians to live in peace since they are bonded by a common destiny.

He said brotherliness and the spirit of forgiveness should therefore be the watch phrase of every Ghanaian.

Pastor Osei-Bonsu made the call at the annual camp meeting of the Kade District of the East- Ghana Conference of the SDA Church at Akwatia on the theme: 93Revival and Reformation for Mission.”

Topics treated included; Revival and Forgiveness, Revival and Discipleship, Prayer- a tool for Revival, Holy Spirit- Agent of Revival, Christian Communication- A tool for Mission and Publishing Ministry in the Plan of God.

Pastor Opoku Boakye, of the Akyem Oda West District of the Church, asked the citizenry to be circumspective about the way they communicate with one another.

“It is essential (for Ghanaians) to be refined in the way we talk, be it at home or at work, indeed with everyone we meet,” he stressed, adding that it is necessary for people to give hope to the hopeless and help those who are in trouble.

Pastor Abugyimah Wiredu, of the Kyebi District of the SDA asked Christians not to allow themselves to be lured by Satan the 93deceiver” to lead lives unbecoming of the faith.

Pastor N.Y Afari Dadzie, of the Kade District of the Church, called on Christians to 93 re-examine our way of life so that we can help bring about positive change in societies in which we live”.

He called on Christians to beware of false revival, which he said are common these days and are not in line with Christian life and leading people astray. 13 Sept. 11
