SCHOOL BLOCK COMMISSIONED AT DANYAMESO

16.8 million classroom block built by the Asante-Ayem South District Assembly for the Primary School at Danyameso has been commissioned. The District Chief Executive, Mr.. James Boadi-Danquah, who officially commissioned the block, assured the people that the Assembly will construct three more classrooms for the School. He stressed that the government will continue to give priority attention to the educational sector. Mr.. Boadi-Danquah urged parents to invest in the education of their children. Parents should also co-operate with teachers to ensure better teaching and learning. Mr.. Boadi-Danquah commended the out-going Headteacher of the School, Mrs.. Agnes Boodeme, for her dedication to duty. The Assistant Director of Education In-Charge of the Circuit, Baafuor Gyasi, was not happy about the low enrollment at the school and called on parents to send their children to school. The Assemblymember for the area, Mr.. S.S. Asante, appealed to the District Assembly to provide the area with potable water. The Odikro of Danyameso, Nene Samuel Dawu, commended the Assembly for the project and gave an assurance that the people will patronise the school. End
