SCC Berlin secure Berlin-Liga switch for German-Ghanaian forward Nii Weber

German-Ghanaian centre-forward Nii Weber has joined SCC Berlin from FC Wilmersdorf on a free transfer, completing a move between two Berlin-Liga clubs.

The 28-year-old’s switch took effect on 19 August 2026, bringing his spell with FC Wilmersdorf to an end and adding another Berlin-based club to his playing career. Weber now continues in the same division with SCC Berlin after making the move without a transfer fee.

Born in Berlin on 7 August 1998, Weber has dual German and Ghanaian nationality. He stands 1.84 metres tall and is a right-footed striker, with his primary position listed as centre-forward.

His arrival gives SCC Berlin a recognised central attacking option as the club continues its Berlin-Liga campaign. Weber’s move is also a local change, with both his former and new clubs competing in the same regional competition.

FC Wilmersdorf and SCC Berlin are separated by the transfer of a player who has spent his most recent period in the Berlin-Liga. Weber’s departure means the forward will now represent SCC Berlin rather than remain with the club he previously represented in the division.

The move follows a career in which Weber’s highest recorded market value was €50,000, although no current valuation has been stated. His profile remains centred on the striker role, where his height and preferred right foot define the main details of his playing position.

SCC Berlin have completed the signing of Nii Weber from FC Wilmersdorf, with the German-Ghanaian forward joining the club as a free transfer on 19 August 2026.
