SAUDI TRADE DELEGATION

A 17-member trade delegation from Saudi Arabia, led by the Chairman of the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Hammad Al-Zamil, is in Accra on a four-day visit to Ghana. The members are in business ventures such as construction, industry, trading mining and electrical works. Mr. Al-Zamil told newsmen at Kotoka Airport that the visit is a follow up to Ghana’s trade mission to Saudi Arabia last year for trade and investment promotion. According to him some Saudi Arabia companies are already doing business in Ghana and their success has influenced them to undertake the trip. Mr. Al-Zamil said his last delegation will look out for joint ventures with the Ghanaian counterpart. The President of Ghana National Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Ato Ampiah, who received the delegation noted that Ghana’s drive to attract investors is beginning to yield positive results. He urged the Ghanaian Counterparts to take advantage of the delegation’s visit to make contacts and discuss business. gri
