Same sex marriage is primitive and ungodly – Primate Adofo

Kumasi, June 29, GNA – The Spiritual Head of the Brotherhood Church, Primate Seth Adofo, has denounced the practice of homosexuality, labeling it as 93primitive and ungodly.”

He, therefore, called on all well-meaning Ghanaians to act together to stop the 93evil practice” from gaining foothold in the Ghanaian society.

Primate Adofo was opening a three-day annual conference of the church at South Suntreso in Kumasi on Wednesday.

More than 600 pastors and the laity drawn from all over the country as well as its branches in Brussels, Belgium, Togo and Cote d’Ivoire are attending.

It is being held under the theme: 93Church growth and evangelism.” Primate Adofo asked the church to provide the necessary leadership to turn people away from gay and lesbianism.

He noted that the church in recent times had come under a lot of criticism for rape, defilement and other criminal activities and reminded Christians to lead pure and unblemished lives.

Church leaders should become good examples not only to the congregation but the rest of society.

“It is time to see ourselves as committed Christians doing the work of God with the belief that the best reward is at the end.”
