Sam Okudzeto Re-elected President Of Ghana Bar Association

Ho, (Volta Region) 3 Oct.,

The Ghana Bar Association (GBA) has re-elected Mr. Sam Okudzeto, an Accra Lawyer, as its national president at a conference in Ho. Mr. Okudzeto polled 63 votes to beat Mr. B.W. Tamakloe who had 11 votes. Mr. Okudzeto has thus been re-elected as national president of GBA for the third consecutive time. Other national officers were also re-elected unopposed. Mr. Okudzeto thanked members of the association for their continued show of confidence in his leadership and called on them to provide him with feedback on issues concerning the welfare of the association. This year’s conference was under the theme “the development of the private sector: a basis for sound democratic governance”.
