Sakara Cautions AMA

Over Removal Of Party Paraphernalia In Honour Of Late President

The 2012 Presidential Candidate of the Convention People’s Party wishes to inform the Accra Metropolitan Assembly to take note of the removal of paraphernalia of the various political Parties in Accra in honour of our late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills.

“Poster and paraphernalia of political parties should not be removed discriminatly” Dr Sakara stated As far as we all agree to the fact that the late President should be given all the due respect, we also believe that Party paraphernalia together with our national Flags serves as honour to him since he was a father for all. Again the AMA should take note of all paraphernalia and where they were originally located to ensure that they fixed them back at the same locations after the funeral.

It will see discriminatory and abuse of incumbency should any political party paraphernalia is left out in the process of hanging and pasting them after the final funeral rites of our late President.

Let us all as one people ensure we provide an atmosphere that will be fair to all as a sign of honour to late President Mills who only wanted nothing but good for the people of Ghana. This I believe will make us more united than ever especially as we go into the December elections.
