The Chairman of the University for Development Studies (UDS) Council, Dr Hakeem Wemah last Wednesday painted a gloomy picture for the University when he addressed members of the Northern Region House of Chiefs at Tamale.
He said the UDS is the only University in the country that was
established without seed money adding, “after eight years of its existence, the school is worse off than several second-cycle institutions in the country”.
“The University has no hostels, no lecture rooms, no laboratories and no libraries. The school is currently housed in make-shift.
