Saboba Assembly Supports Small-Scale Businesses

Saboba, (Northern Region) 19, Sept. The Saboba-Chereponi District Assembly is assisting small-scale businesses with 40 million cedis to enable them to expand their socio-economic activities. The district chief executive, Mr. Mohammed Issah Abah, said this yesterday at the second ordinary meeting of the fourth session of the assembly at Saboba. Mr. Abah said 100.9 million cedis has been allocated for education, 57 million cedis to health, 50 million cedis, water and sanitation and five million cedis earmarked for sports and cultural development. The assembly has taken delivery of two motor bikes to improve the work of members of the community water and sanitation team. He urged assembly members to take advantage of the water and sanitation team to ensure that their electorate extend water and toilet facilities in their homes. He called on the works sub-committee to get actively involved in monitoring projects being financed by the assembly’s share of the common fund.
