Rojo to sue Daily Guide

A member of the Prof John Evans Attah Mills 2004 Campaign Team, Mr Rojo Mettle Nunnoo, has decided to sue the Daily Guide Newspaper and the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service over his alleged involvement in a cocaine deal.

According to him the publication was done to discredit him and shift attention from his on-going legal battles with the electoral commission over the continued refusal by the electoral commission to gazette the 2004 election.

The Daily Guide Newspaper reported today (see article below) that the NDC scribe was arrested in connection with a 38 million cocaine deal late last year.

Speaking on Daybreak Kapital this morning, Mr. Mettle Nunnoo noted that he believes the police leaked the information to the paper to dent his hard won reputation.

He explained that sometime ago, he used to assist the two Venezuelans at the heart of the deal to enable them do business in Ghana. He denied ever being arrested by the police saying he was only invited to explain his relationship with the Venezuelans
