Road contractors leave for Germany

Accra, Sept. 6, GNA – Fourteen managing directors of indigenous Ghanaian road construction companies have left Accra for Frankfurt, Germany, for a two week business tour.

A statement signed in Accra by Ms Mould Griffen, Executive Secretary of Association of Road Contractors, said the tour sponsored by InWent, a capacity building organisation, was aimed at furthering business partnership and cooperation between the two groups. The contractors would visit various businesses and machinery manufacturing centres including Voegele AG, producer of road finisher and road construction machines.

The group led by Mr J. Twumasi, National Chairman of ASROC and Managing Director of Nkwantabisa Engineering Limited, would return on Sunday.
