Rival group endorses Mahama’s U/E Region nominee

A group calling itself Concerned Youth of Upper East Region has endorsed President John Dramani Mahama’s nomination of James Zuugah Tiigah as Upper East Region Minister.

Mr. Tiigah’s nomination was received with outrage by youth in the Region.

They threatened to hit the streets of Bolgatanga if the president does not reinstate Dr. Ephraim Avea Nsor within four days.

But Spokesperson of the Concerned Youth of Upper East Region, Francis Akadigibah, rubbished the calls by the youth, throwing support behind President Mahama’s nominee, who is Ghana’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations.

Mr. Akadigibah, however, appealed to President Mahama to reassign Dr. Nsor.
