Resignation Of Ghana Airways Boss Confirmed

The Minister for Transport and Communications, Mr. Felix Owusu Adjepong has confirmed the resignation of the Chief Executive of Ghana Airways, Emmanuel Quartey Jnr. His resignation takes effect in three months times. Two weeks ago, JOYFM reported that Mr. Quartey Jnr had submitted his resignation to the board. The board is, however, yet to make recommendations to the President.

Meanwhile, the Minister has revealed that the government has begun careful studies of the VANEF-STC agreement in order to act on various complaints received by the workers and the general public. The acquisition of 30 per cent shares in Ghana Telecom by Malaysian Investors would also be investigated.
