Residents rendered homeless as parts of Takoradi flood

Scores of residents in Takoradi in the Western region have been rendered homeless following a heavy downpour on Monday.

The rains have also disrupted healthcare delivery as some hospitals in the region have been heavily flooded.

Displaced residents are putting up with friends and other relations with properties running into thousands of Cedis being destroyed.

Some victims who spoke to Starr News disclosed that they have lost virtually all their properties to the flood.

Some also stated that the floods were caused by choked gutters in the communities and called on residents to ensure that the gutters are cleared.
