Registration officials in Dormaa commended

Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A) March 20, GNA – Mr Anthony Kwame Nyame, Dormaa District Electoral Officer, has commended registration officials in the district for working hard to ensure the success of the on-going voters’ registration exercise.
Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Dormaa-Ahenkro after he toured registration centres in the district on Friday, he said the work of the officials was “very encouraging”. Mr Nyame appealed to all Ghanaians who are 18 years and above and of sound mind to register immediately to avoid last-minute rush to the centres.
About the allowances for registration officers, the Electoral Officer said the Commission would give the issue a second look to increase the amount to an appreciable level to motivate them to work harder.
Mr Nyame advised them to notify the Commission about problems they might encounter in their work. The communities the electoral officer toured included Wamfie, Praprabaabida, Abroso, Nkrankwanta, Danyame and Kwakuanya.
