Registration exercise in Ketu South is smooth

A total of 1,340 eligible voters were issued with their voter ID Cards at 12, at 32 registration centres on the first day of the registration exercise in the Ketu South District.

E.P. Primary and Post Officer Centre “A” in Aflao each registered 129 voters followed by Gbugbla Centre also in Aflao with 123.

Akusa Park issued 116, Border School 108, Temporary Booth Viepe 106 with the least registration of 70 at Huime Basic School.

Long queues of eligible voters were present at centres visited by the GNA where the exercise appeared smoother than Saturday when technical problems particularly with equipment slowed down the exercise.

Temporary Booth at Viepe registered 53 voters by 1,124 hours on Sunday.

Wuime-Agordome Basic School issued 66 voter ID Cards by 1156 hours.

Political party agents mainly NPP and NDC said the exercise was orderly on the second day.**
