Mr.. Donald Adabere, Upper East Regional Minister has called on District Assemblies in the area to set aside 20 percent of the common fund to be used as a revolving credit to farmers. Mr.. Adabere told the people about the early warning signals from the ministry of food and agriculture indicating that the region was heading for an unprecedented food shortage and urged prompt remedial action from government to avert a crisis situation.
