The Ministry of the Interior has announced that recruitment into the Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Prisons Service, and Ghana Immigration Service will officially open from November 15 to December 15, 2025.

According to the Ministry, this national exercise is part of efforts to strengthen Ghana’s internal security system, improve public safety, and ensure efficient service delivery within the country’s key security institutions.

In a statement, the Ministry explained that it aims to attract qualified, disciplined, and patriotic Ghanaians who are willing to serve the nation “with integrity, professionalism, and dedication.”

Interested individuals are encouraged to apply within the stated timeframe.

Details regarding available positions, entry requirements, qualifications, and application procedures for each agency will be released soon. Applicants are advised to carefully follow all instructions and confirm their eligibility before submitting their applications.

The Ministry stated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for screening, aptitude tests, and background checks.

It however issued a strong warning against dealing with persons or groups who claim to have influence over the recruitment process, stressing that “the Ministry and its agencies do not charge any fee at any stage of the exercise.”

Anyone found guilty of providing false information or forged documents will be disqualified and may face prosecution. Likewise, applicants who engage middlemen at any stage will face automatic disqualification.

The Ministry concluded that further information about the application process will be communicated to the public in due course.
