Rainstorm Victims Get Four Million Cedis

Inchaban (W/R), July 2, Mrs. Esther Nkansah, Western regional Minister yesterday presented relief items worth four million cedis to victims of the recent rainstorms which affected parts of the region. The items, which include 120 pieces of roofing sheets, 15 mattresses and blankets were presented by the government through the Western Region Disaster Relief Committee. Presenting the items, which were received by the Chief of Inchaban, Nana Tufu Asamoah, Mrs. Nkansah asked estate developers to desist from constructing houses in waterways. She said though the government is always willing to assist victims of such disaster, the people should not engage in haphazard development.
