Rainstorm destroys buildings in Nkoranza

Nkoranza (Brong Ahafo) 21 April, A severe rainstorm has hit three communities in the Nkoranza district and ripped off the roofs of 30 buildings rendering more than 200 people homeless. The communities are Odumase, Baafi and Kranka. The district assistant co-ordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Mr. Frank Kofi Gyamera, told the press that within the past two weeks, about 10 communities have been hit by rainstorms.
