Rainstorm Causes Havoc At Brahoho

Brahoho (B/A) A severe rainstorm which hit Brahoho in the Nkoranza district at the weekend ripped off the roofs of 15 houses, rendering about 200 people homeless. The six-classroomed block of the Methodist primary school was damaged. A member of the unit committee, Mr David Arkom who conducted the Ghana News Agency round to inspect the damage said the affected people were putting up with friends and relatives. Mr Arkom estimated the cost of damage at several millions of cedis. He appealed to the Nkoranza district assembly and the National Disaster Relief Committee to go to the aid of the victims.
