Put your nation first – Mills tells Assemblymen

The President, John Evans Atta Mills has asked Assembly members to relegate their personal parochial and partisan interest to the background and put the interest of the nation first.

He said the success of every Metropolitan and District Assembly largely depends on the level of cooperation between Assembly members, Chief Executives as well as other management staff in the discharge of their duties.

The President made the call in a speech read on his behalf at the inauguration and swearing in of Ga South Municipal Assembly members.
