Akim Oda (E/R), May 22, GNA – Prophetess Quayeba Abredu in charge of the Christ Apostolic Church’s (CAC) Prayer Camp at Anum Apapam in the Eastern Region, on Saturday advised Ghanaians not to expend their energies on conflicts. She said there was the need for the citizenry to rally behind the government to address unemployment, water, sanitation and environmental problems. Prophetess Abredu gave the advice at a non-denominational revival programme at Akim Oda in the Birim Central Municipality during which prayers were said for the nation.
She said the culture of violence and impunity associated with politics did not augur well for the growth of multi-party democracy. She therefore, appealed to Ghanaians especially the youth, to eschew such negative acts, in order not to be branded as agents of destruction. Prophetess Quayeba admonished Ghanaians to chart a new course of moral and spiritual development, to enrich their private and national lives. She also urged the people to be guided by the truth at all times, to help move the country forward. Prophetess Quayeba implored traditional elders to be innovative and development oriented in order to promote development and growth in their communities.
