Promotion examinations for schools in Fanteakwa

Akim Begoro (E/R), July 26, GNA- The Fanteakwa District Directorate of Education is to conduct promotion examination for basic school pupils in the district.

The District Director of Education, Ms Mary Animwah announced this when she addressed heads of basic Schools at Begoro on Thursday. She said the exercise was aimed at improving performances in the schools in the area.

She noted that it would help give equal opportunities to all pupils to perform better in their examinations to be conducted. Miss Animwah said pupils in both primary and JSS would be expected to pay 10 thousand cedis flat towards the examination. She told the Heads that the money to be deducted would cover printing, stationery and distribution, adding that they would supervise the examinations.
