Prof. Mills arrives from South Africa

Accra, July 25, GNA – Professor John Evans Atta Mills, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for both the 2000 and 2004 elections said it was not true that, he was bedridden.

” All the rumours that are going on about me are not true”. Prof Mills, who was speaking to journalists on arrival from South Africa at the Kotoka International Airport on Monday, said he had rather gone for holidays and took advantage to treat a nasal problem.

He said he would soon launch his campaign to contest the ‘flagbearership’ of the NDC, adding that, he was well equipped for the position due to his past experience.

Prof Mills said he welcomed other contestants, who had joined the race, since it was a sign of the level of enthusiasm people had in the party.

Top officials of the party, as well as party faithful met him on arrival.
