Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo and her Tanzanian musician husband, Juma Jux, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in Canada.
The couple’s son, named Rakeem, was born on Sunday, August 24, 2025. The news was first announced by Priscilla’s mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, who shared her excitement about becoming a grandmother on social media.
Posting a photo of herself cradling the newborn while Priscilla rested in a hospital bed, Iyabo Ojo expressed gratitude for the safe delivery of both mother and child. “Say hello to the latest sexiest grandma in town, my grandson is the cutest @rakeem_mk! ,” she captioned the post.
The announcement quickly sparked celebrations online, with fans and fellow celebrities sending congratulatory messages to the family.
Priscilla and Juma Jux, who tied the knot earlier this year in a series of lavish ceremonies held between February and May, revealed their pregnancy in July. Only days ago, they hosted a blue-themed gender reveal party, confirming they were expecting a boy.
The arrival of baby Rakeem marks a new milestone for the couple, whose relationship has drawn attention across Nigeria, Tanzania, and beyond due to their high-profile backgrounds in entertainment and social media.
Neither Priscilla nor Juma Jux has made a public statement since the birth, but the family’s social media posts indicate mother and baby are both doing well.
