Spokesperson for the deputy regional youth organizers of the NDC, Prince Iddrisu Mamoud has been attack by some 3 unknown assailants. Prince Iddrisu Mamoud says he was attacked by three unknown men while riding a motor bike last night. Speaking to Abena Asiedua Tenkorang, host of Xfm¹s Big Bite, Mamoud said he was ³picked in a pick up, carried some where into the bush and dealt with². Narrating his ordeal, Prince Mamoud said he was riding in the night when he was stopped. He continued that the assailants crossed him with a pick up and beckoned him to come. Mamoud added that when he tried resisting, one of the assailants pulled out a knife and that compelled him to join their vehicle. ³I was riding in the night when they stopped me. They crossed me with a pick up and asked me to come?when I tried resisting; one of them removed a knife?they kept quiet never mentioned anything. They moved me past Wa Poly campus; very close to a village called Kpone. There I was beaten by them and the only word they said was fucking boy. They then entered the car and took offŠ² He said the assailants did not rob him or make away with any of his possessions considering the fact that he had two mobile phones with him when the assailants attacked.
Mamoud who has lodged a formal complain with the Wa police opined that though he did not know his assailants; he believed they were not from Wa, adding that he would not comment on the reason behind his attack because the case was under investigation by the Wa police. Mr. Mamoud is the spokesperson for the group who are calling for the head of presidential aide, Ludwig Hlodze who they say has neglected his work as the National Youth organizer of the NDC.
