“President” Nduom will have only 13 ministers

Paa Kwesi Nduom, one of the five people aspiring to lead the Convention People’s Party(CPP) has made a strong case for the reduction of the size of Government by having 13 ministries, tops, and fourty Ministers (40) inclusive of their deputies.

He has also proposed that he will abolish the position of Parliamentary Affairs ministers because he thinks parliament should have their own leader to whom they should be answerable and not to the President as is the case today.

Dr. Nduom in a position paper said, under an Nduom presidency, the position of district Chief executive and Municipal Chief Executive should be elective to encourage accountability, and that the position of Attorney General should be separated from to prosecute the cancer of corruption.
