President Mills nominates new Agona West Municipal Chief Executive

President John Evans Atta Mills has nominated Mr Samuel Oppong as Agona West Municipal Chief Executive to replace Mr E.K. Tetteh, whose appointment has been revoked with immediate effect.

A statement signed in Accra on Wednesday by Mr Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, said the outgoing MCE was requested to properly handover to the Central Regional Minister who would exercise oversight responsibility over the Municipality.**
