President Mills arrives in Washington

Accra, Sept. 28, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills has arrived in Washington DC, after attending the Second Africa-South America Summit in Isla Magarita, Venezuela.

A release e-mailed to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Monday by Mr Koku Anyidoho, Head of Communications, Office of the President, said in Washington, President Atta Mills would hold discussions with World Bank President, Mr Robert Zoellick.

He will also meet Mr Darius Mans, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Millennium Challenge Corporation.

The release said before leaving Washington, President Atta Mills would address the Plenary Session of the Seventh Biennial US-Africa Business Summit.

President Atta Mills is expected to leave Washington on Thursday, October 1, 2009, for Accra via London.
