President Mahama tours Eastern region

President John Mahama will on Tuesday April 12, proceed to the Eastern region with his ongoing ‘Accounting to the People tour’.

The President had in the past week been visiting the Western region unveiling the various projects undertaken by his government.

The tour comes months ahead of the Presidential and parliamentary elections due November this year.

Below are details of a statement announcing the tour

President John Dramani Mahama will on Tuesday begin the second leg of his Accounting to the People Tour at Odumase Krobo in the Eastern Region. Following on the heels of a very successful tour of the Western Region, President Mahama will pay courtesy calls on chiefs, interact with traders and residents of various communities and inspect ongoing projects.

The President will use the three days to interact with the chiefs and people of the region, including religious leaders, students, workers, and traders. He will use the opportunity to elicit feedback and inaugurate new projects including a ferry at Agordeke in the Afram Plains.
