President Kufuor opens photo exhibition

President John Agyekum Kufuor on Monday opened a photo exhibition highlighting major social and political activities of the President over the past 12 months of his administration at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The exhibition depicted the President’s trips to France, Canada, Norway, Spain, Togo, Mali, Morocco and Nigeria. The exhibition is part of activities marking the 9th Anniversary of the 4th Republic and one year of Positive Charge.

On show were photographs of foreign Heads of State that visited the country and these included President Abdulaye Wade of Senegal, President Alpha Konare of Mali and President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa.

Others were President Kufuor’s regional tours, tourism and housing sectors, activities marking the 41st Republic Day and the 43rd Independence Day cerebrations.
