President Kufuor consoles Serbia over loss of premier

President John Agyekum Kufuor on Tuesday sent a message of condolence to the government and people of Serbia in respect of the assassination of the Serbian Prime Minister, Mr Zoram Djindjic.

Unknown assassins assassinated Mr Djindjic last Wednesday in Belgrade.

A release issued in Accra by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Kufuor said: “On behalf of the government and people of Ghana, and on my own behalf, I wish to express to the government and people of the Federal Republic of Serbia and Montenegro, and in particular to the bereaved family, our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies”.
