President Koroma departs

Accra, April 22, GNA – President Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone left for home on Tuesday after participating in the opening session of the 12th meeting of

the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Before leaving, President Koroma inspected a guard of honour mounted by three officers and 96 men from the First Infantry Battalion under the command of Captain Alfred Martei. He was also given the 21-gun salute.

At the airport to see off President Koroma were Ministers of States, senior government officials and members of the diplomatic corps.
