Presby youth hold Carols Day

Accra, Dec. 24, GNA – The youth wing of Osu Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Accra held a Carols Day on Wednesday as part of its “Youth Explosion” week celebration.

The programme drew participants from five institutions within the Accra metropolis and was aimed at encouraging the youth to patronise normal programmes that the church organised. The participants were Osu Methodist, Osu Presec Choir, Osu Presby Preparatory Choir, Osu Ebenezer Junior Youth Choir and El-dunamis Choir.

Nii Armah Masoperh, a member of the planning committee of the event, said for some time now, the attendance and enthusiasm of the youth towards activities of the church had not been encouraging. “This is why we have organised this event to whip up enthusiasm in the youth towards the activities of the church,” he said. In a message, the Reverend Eric Nii Okle Botchway of Osy Presby Church called on the youth to show love to one another this festive season. He said showing love to one another in the month of December was more precious than any other gift.
