PPP supporters storm court; chant “No PPP no vote”

Hundreds of supporters of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) besieged the Accra High Court to protest against the disqualification of their flag bearer, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom.

The Accra High court hearing the PPP case against the Electoral Commission (EC) adjourned the case for both parties to file their statement of case and the ruling will be next week.

Some of the supporters managed to enter the court room that was filled to capacity.

The supporters were chanting No PPP No Vote and singing war songs with others holding placards with inscription, Nduom is coming like Kakai, Who paid you EC?, No Nduom No vote, No PPP No election among others.

Some of the aggrieved supporters told Kasapa Fm’s Court Correspondent, Daakyehene Ofosu Agyeman that they came from Elmina in the Central Region.
