Police urged to step up use of speed radar and alco-meters

Amrahia (G/A), July 19, GNA-The Assembly member for Koose electoral area in the Adenta municipality, Mr. Mac Charles Tamakloe, has appealed to the police to step up the use of speed radar and alco-meter in a bid to check speeding and drunk-driving.

This would reduce accidents on the Adenta/Dodowa road, he told the GNA in an interview.

He urged the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) to provide speed rumps on the Adenta/Dodowa road and added that some vehicles plying that road were not road worthy.
