Police on manhunt for ‘sakawa’ Mallam

Police in the Western Region have launched a manhunt for Mallam Ridwan for luring some boys to kill their fathers after visiting his shrine to help them to be rich.

Mallam Ridwan is alleged to have advised the five (5) male friends from New Takoradi a fishing community in Takoradi to kill their fathers for money rituals.

Five of the teenagers were arrested two days after one of them George Williams attempted to kill his father for money rituals.

Western Regional Police Public Relations Officer ASP Olivia Ewurabena Adiku who spoke to Empire News’ Emmanuel Ohene Gyan said the boys were arrested when George’s father reported the case to the police.
