Pokuase, March 02, GNA – Pokuase Traditional Authority and Head of Nii Dodoo Clottey Family of Pokuase on Thursday announced the death of Nii Otto Kwame III, Pokuase Mantse, on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
The late Pokuase Mantse 64, was known in private life as Benjamin Otto Dodoo. He was enstooled in 1988 and reigned until his death. A statement issued at Pokuase and signed by Nii Ofei Nkwantabisa III, Djasetse of Pokuase said wake keeping for the deceased would be held on Friday, March 23, and the burial and funeral rites on Saturday, March 24, at Pokuase.
