Philip Addison’s campaign posters pop up again

Campaign posters of Philip Addison have resurfaced months after he lost the Korle Klottey constituency in the New Patriotic Party parliamentary primary to Nii Noi Nortey.

It is not clear why posters of the legal practitioner have resurfaced in parts of Accra but speculations are rife that the primary in the Greater Accra constituency will be re-run following a complaint of irregularities to party executives by Addison.

Mr. Nortey has already stated categorically that he will resist any attempt to re-run the primary in the constituency should the National Executive Committee decides so.

Executives of the NPP in a previous interview with Starr News said they are yet to take a decision on whether the Korle Klottey parliamentary primary will be re-run or not.

It is, however, not known if the latest campaign posters have popped up in anticipation of a re-run of the primary.

Nortey polled 393 votes beating Addison who secured 22 votes and Adjei Tawiah who obtained 19.
