Philanthropist donates to farmers in Tolon

A philanthropist, known to be President John Mahama’s boy in the Tolon constituency of the Northern region, Mr. Ali, has donated an amount of GHC12,000.00 to some farmers in the constituency.

The money is to assist the farmers improve on their yield and adopt modern methods of farming.

Doing the presentation, Mr. Ali urged the farmers to work hard to improve their farm yield, calling on them also to come together and vote for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the next coming 2016 General Elections.

According to him, much is expected of the NDC in the constituency and hence the party must be voted back to regain the constituency for total development of the area.

He also assured the farmers of the president’s resolve to offer support to farmers in the region if they make good use of what they has been given to them.
Receiving the money, the farmers promised to utilise the money to the benefit of all and also ensure that their farm yields are improved.

They expressed readiness to support and vote for the NDC in the coming elections, stressing that the NDC holds the key to the development of the constituency and the people of the region.
