As at 1200 hours many polling stations had recorded less than 50 percent of the voters in the voters register.

At Dormaa-Ahenkro Presby JHS Polling Station, 316 out of 1,443 voters had cast their votes by mid-day. At the Continuation ‘B’ polling station 200 voters had cast their votes, out of the 1,033 in the register. The elections have generally been peaceful with security personnel, party agents and polling assistants playing their respective roles to sustain the peace till polls close at 1700 hours.
