Paebo: Akufo-Addo helps victims

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has provided 250 bags of cement and 400 pieces of roofing sheets to victims of the Paebo quarry explosion.

The leader of the main opposition party visited the quarry site on Wednesday January 13, 2015, in the Eastern Region, to commiserate with the affected people and made the donations for their rehabilitation.

The explosion, which occurred at the abandoned quarry in December, last year, killed one person and injured dozens in the area.

Thousands of residents were rendered homeless following the ammonium dynamite explosion, which occurred on Wednesday December 23 2015.
