Accra, Dec.7, GNA – The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II leaves for London on Saturday December 9 2006 to receive an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy to be conferred on him by the London Metropolitan University.
A release signed by G. B. Osei-Antwi, Media Relations Manager of the Asantehene’s Office, said the ceremony would take place in the Barbican Hall in the City of London, with an audience including guests invited on behalf of the Asantehene.
The release said Nana Otuo Serebuo, Juabenhene and Nana Agyewodin Adu Gyamfi Ampem, Acheresuahene, and other traditional rulers would accompany Otumfuo Osei Tutu.
