Osei Kwaku?s ‘killer’ surrenders to police

The driver of the Mercedes Benz passenger bus, which killed former youth and sports minister Edward Osei Kwaku, has surrendered to the police.

25-year old Yaw Agyapong surrendered to the Juaben police on Wednesday morning.

He has since been transferred to the Kumasi.

Mr Osei Kwaku who was Member of Parliament for the defunct Asokwa west constituency for two consecutives terms died on Tuesday after he was run over by a passenger bus.

The tragic death of Mr Osei Kwaku comes just days after a number of public figures including 3 surgeons of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital passed away in similar circumstances.

The late Mr Osei Kwaku, a Lawyer by profession was due to turn 63 next November. Most of his acquaintances will remember him for his humility and soberliness.
