Okyehene elevate five Odikros

Kibi (E R), March 12, GNA- Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin II, Okyenhene has called on traditional elders in the area, to forge unity of purpose to facilitate development.

He stressed the need for the chiefs, queenmothers and other opinion leaders to settle their differences amicably and team up for the progress of their communities. Osagyefo Ofori Panyin gave the advice after a State Council meeting to preside over the elevation of five sub- chiefs to the status of 91Barimah’.

They are Barimah Makatah VI Panpanso-krokese, Nana Opong Ofori Adukrom, Nana Antwi Asante Anamoa Kwadjo and Nana Martey of Ayikortse,suhum.

Barimah Makatah one of the elevated chiefs thanked the Okyenhene for the honour done them and called on his colleagues to forge a united front to help develop their communities. 12 March 11
