Offer Constructive Criticism for Development-Gambila

Nyariga, (UER), Nov 2, GNA- The Upper East Regional Minister, Mr. Boniface Gambila, on Wednesday called on Ghanaians to offer constructive criticisms for accelerated development of the nation and stop the =93Pull Him Down Syndrome”.

The Minister made the remark in a speech read for him by the Bongo District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Francis Asampana, at a victory rally organized by an Assembly member-elect at Nyariga, a suburb of Bolgatanga.

He stressed that destructive criticisms creates disunity and underdevelopment and called on people to stop such practices and rather redirect their attention and energy to contributing positively to the entire nation’s development.

Mr. Gambila called on the inhabitants of the Nyariga Electoral Area to support the Assembly member Elect, Mr. John Nyaaba, to enable him to discharge his duties effectively to pave way for the development of the area.

“The Assembly member-elect single-handedly cannot bring development to Nyariga, it behoves on everybody here to contribute by supporting him in diverse ways for total development”, he added.

Mr. Gambila appealed to parents to take advantage of the introduction of the capitation grant and the school-feeding programme by sending their children to school to enable them become responsible future leaders.

He further appealed to the people of the area to register with the National Health Scheme (NHIS) to enable them to access affordable and quality health care.

He impressed upon the community to form Watch Dog Committees to curb the rampant criminal activities.

The Assembly member-elect for the area thanked the people for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to introduce an open door policy to allow for constructive criticism and called on everybody to get on board.
