Odododiodoo: Mankattah Lost In His Area

RESULTS from the Tafo area of the Odododiodioo constituency indicate that Lennox Asafoatse Mankattah, the NPP candidate for last Tuesday?s bye-elections, lost in his own home area.

The NDC candidate and eventual winner, Nii Tackie Komme, polled over 500 votes at that polling station while the home boy polled a little over 60 votes.

This development, it is believed, stemmed from the fact that Lennox had done the abominable ?act? of ?rejecting? his father?s NDC party, while he lays in the morgue, unburied.

Besides, residents of the area feel the candidate has put monetary considerations before doing what is customarily prudent. Tongues are wagging in the area that the candidate was alleged promised and given about 300 million cedis to stand for the party to attract sympathy votes.

It is not known what the total humiliation will cause the NPP candidate, both in the area and the AMA where he works.
