Obeng-Inkoom picks nomination form

Agona Swedru, Aug 29, GNA – The Head of Legal Department of The Trust Bank, Mr Charles Obeng-Inkoom, has picked nomination forms to contest the Agona West constituency National Democracy Congress (NDC) parliamentary primary.

Mr Ebo Deker, the constituency Secretary of the party, appealed to the aspiring parliamentary candidate to conduct a clean campaign devoid of insults and character assassination to ensure peace in the party.

He said the expectation of the NDC was to snatch the parliamentary seat from New Patriotic Party that had kept it for 12 years.

Mr Obeng-Inkoom later addressed large crowd of party supporters at Swedru Town Hall.

He told supporters that Agona West constituency lacked development and he could bring more projects to the area when elected the MP.

Mr Obeng-Inkoom said the ultimate aim of the NDC was to win the 2012 election and this could be achieved through unity and understanding among party members.

He promised to conduct decent and clean campaign and urged other aspirants to do the same to ensure peace in the area.
